24 Aug Another AccessoLootly Busy Week!
All the team at AccessoLoo have had an amazingly busy week, or as we would say locally, ‘It’s been hectic!’
The hire crew have been supporting beach activities on the North Coast of Northern Ireland, by providing showering and changing facilities right beside the see to facilitate surfing and swimming. They were also present at a sea canoeing event in Wicklow to provide accessible facilities for the disabled competitors there too. A tea Party in Larne was the venue for locals to celebrate the centenary of Northern Ireland and thankfully the sun came out so that everyone could enjoy the nostalgic entertainment on show.
As for the changing places installation crew, their reputation for providing great installation services has been spreading far and wide. A new modular unit has been fitted to another park in Ballymena. This is to compliment a brand new all ability accessible playpark that was installed at the beginning of the summer.
A ceiling hoist was added to an existing changing facility at the Samuel Beckett Civic Centre, Ballyogan, Dublin and we have been called upon once again to help with a changing places facility in the Dun Laoghaire area to make reparations to the equipment inside that have been tragically damaged.
All led by a team of disabled people, AccessoLoo continue to operated on our ethos that nothing should be about us, without us.
